Me in the Quran (“we”, “the site”) is run by Hussein Abi Nassif, a sole proprietor based in Côte d'Ivoire. This page explains, in plain terms, what data the site handles and who it is shared with. Questions? Email hello@meinthequran.com.

What we collect

  • The name you search. It is sent to our AI provider to find related Quranic words and is used to generate your results. We do not require an account to search.
  • Your email — only if you buy a keepsake. It is used to deliver your purchase and a secure link that unlocks your keepsake on any device. We do not send marketing email.
  • Anonymous, cookieless usage analytics. We measure page views and a “searched” event to understand how the site is used. No cookies, no advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling — so there is no consent banner.

Third parties (sub-processors)

The site is built on trusted services, each handling a narrow part of the experience:

  • Vercel — hosting and cookieless web analytics.
  • OpenAI — analyses the name you type to suggest related Quranic words.
  • Lemon Squeezy — our payment provider and Merchant of Record; it processes payments and handles billing data. We never see or store your card details.
  • Resend — sends your purchase and keepsake-link emails.
  • Upstash — stores rate-limit counters, your keepsake-link tokens, and a record that an email has an entitlement.
  • Sentry — error monitoring, configured to scrub IP addresses and email from reports.
  • Cloudflare — DNS and email routing for our contact address.

Retention

Search inputs are processed to produce your results and are not kept as a personal profile. If you purchase, your email and order record are retained as long as needed to provide access to your keepsake and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Email us to request deletion of your purchase record.

Your choices

You can use the free search without giving us any personal details. If you have purchased, you can ask us to access or delete your purchase record at any time by emailing hello@meinthequran.com.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
